Helloooooo
Good morning everyone,
Hope you are enjoying the sunshine, it has been so lovely and warm
but I can't say I have had any time to enjoy it!!!!
The extravaganza went really well, thank you to all the lovely ladies
who came and sat with me, I enjoyed your company and your
kind comments. I really liked making the flowers and when I get
some pictures taken I shall post them here.
The marquees worked really well and were lovely and light and airy, there
was plenty of room for everyone.
Since then I have been working in the shop and also took
The Craft Barn club on Thursday. A very friendly
group of ladies and a very nice day, making flowery cards in the morning
and an exploding box in the afternoon.
Well, today is my day on TCBblog and this week its one for the men!!
Why are they always sooooo difficult???
I decided to use a Tando lion and colour it with Copics for
a card for a 'little' man.....

I'm baaaaaaack!!!
Hellooooooo,

Oh my goodness, how long has it been since I was last here????
Since I came on here last and thought I was back, I got called in for
some more surgery........tweaking to make me look young again......
ha ha I wish!!!!!!!
No it was just some tidying up that needed doing and was only an
overnight stay this time with a bit of rest after at home.
So..... I m back with the DT and I'm also working a few hours at The Barn
with the wonderful team there!!
It is getting busy there now with the Extravaganza only 6 sleeps away.......
lots of goodies coming in ready for the demos at the weekend.
This year we will be in marquees so that should be fun!!!!
Do please come and see us!!!
Saturday and Sunday with lots of fab demos and don't forget we are not
at Lingfield anymore so if you haven't been to the new shop yet
then .......
what is stopping you!!!!
Well it is my turn on the Dt today for Fashion Week
and all girls like shoes....so I have used the lovely Katy Sue Designs
stamp and coloured with my Copics which as you know
is my absolute favourite!!
They are lovely stamps to colour and if you pop on over to
you can see how I made it.
Well, I shall be seeing you soon,
I am busy with samples for the weekend so there may even be
some sneaky peaks!!!

Hi everyone,
All I seem to have done lately is apologise for not being here regularly!!
Sadly my mum passed away, she was discharged from
hospital, collapsed the next day and was rushed back in. We were
called in during the night to say goodbye.
It has been a difficult time particularly for my elderly dad who still can't
quite believe she went in with what they thought was gastro enteritis
and then became so ill.
My mum was a nurse and would have known exactly what
was going on. She chose to keep some things from us so we were not aware
of how serious things were!
Hopefully things will start to get a little easier now so I should be
back here regularly again soon!!!

Mothers Day on TCBBlog
Mornin all,
This week on The Craft Barn Blog it has been projects for Mothers Day!!!!
A very special week for all those wonderful mums
out there!!
I decided to use the Tando 'Mum' with papers and paint.....
The colours haven't come out quite as they should, the purple
looks a little too blue.
My mum is still in hospital and was due to come out next week
but the hospital has this horrible winter vomiting bug again
and everything is shut down. Nobody allowed in and nobody
allowed out!!!! Hope she doesn't get it!!!!!!
Well, today you will find me at The Craft Barn
demoing the fabulous Gelli Plate!!!! I love it!!
Andy Skinner should have been demoing and he is fantastic
with it but unfortunately he can't make it so I am
there instead.............no pressure eh????????

At the Movies
Yup this week we have been 'at the movies'!!!!!
The DT has come up with some fab projects yet again
and today is my turn with a very simple card.....
I used the gorgeous stamps by Kanban and coloured with Copics.
She is just the most gorgeous image to colour in and this is
not the first time I have used her!!!!
Some of you may remember a card I made for last years
Extravaganza using the same image.

Hi everyone!!!!
Sorry to have been absent for so long, 2013 has not been a brilliant year for me so far!!!
Not only is my mum still in hospital and really not improving that much
but I also had another bout of labyrinthitis which put me out of actiion
for several days and then just to finish it off, I had a cup of boiling tea
spilt on my leg just over a week ago.
It was an accident but I ended up in casualty with a second degree burn!!!!
OMG how painful is tea on your leg and not in a cup!!!!!
Oh and I had to miss going to the NEC to the trade show........
aaaaaaagh, I was so looking forward to it this year!!!!!
Never mind, there is always next year!!!!
Anyway, I have been seriously neglecting this blog and so have quite
a bit of catching up to do........
hope you have been keeping up with the projects over on TCBBlog, I have
managed to keep up with most of them!
This week on TCBBlog we are 'at the movies' and as usual there is
a variety of fab projects for you to see.
You'll have to wait til Saturday for mine as I've kept it simple.

Happy New Year!!!!
Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been around for a while.
I've had a very poorly mum who has now been in hospital for nearly
five weeks and have been having to deal with that as well
as my elderly father at their home.
Not been an easy time but hopefully, she is now looking a bit better
and maybe transferred to our little local hospital very soon which will
definitely help with visiting!!!
So that is now two Christmasses in a row that have been difficult, first me and
now mum!! Hopefully this next one will be better!!!!!!
Anyway, I will be back soon and I want to wish you all
a very Happy and Healthy New Year!
